SmartGrind achieves Saudi Aramco verification

OMS is pleased to announce that SmartGrind, our ground-breaking weld inspection and remediation system, has achieved official Saudi Aramco verification. The verification process is demanding, including thorough inspection of the technology alongside investigation into supplier quality management systems and company operations.

SmartGrind locates, identifies, quantifies and solves a wide range of weld defects through targeted grinding, leaving weld surfaces stronger and better prepared for coating. Welds can be accessed via robotic crawler or attached to the ILUC, eliminating the need for man-entry and thus improving safety.
